Heritage Activities: Ongoing activity of many years is the cleaning of silver and silver gilt at the Royal Pavilion. There is an eight-strong team who, on a rota basis, meet at the Royal Pavilion fortnightly. They have also been involved with cleaning the silver artefacts at the University of Sussex and the Civic silver kept in Brighton Town Hall. On an occasional basis heritage activities can, and do, also take place, including recording of documents, guiding and stewarding by members who volunteer to take part following requests for help from both national and local bodies.
